Once registration for the class has closed (24 hours before the start time) an email with the Microsoft Teams Meeting link will be distributed to the email provided upon sign up.  Registration confirmation emails are sent Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. In the event that you do not receive a confirmation or the class link, please reach out to WarrantyEducation@Toyota.com to confirm the correct email was provided upon registration. If you missed the deadline, please reach out to your DSPM. These classes are provided to dealers as a resource. Class credit will not be provided by TMS.

These seminars serve as a resource to you! Since we view these as a resource, there is not a fee associated with the class. You may take these classes as many times as you prefer to fully intake the knowledge that is provided!

Classes may be held at your region or area's main office location, a central location within your region/area, or at Headquarters in Plano. Please be sure to check back periodically and look for any upcoming announcements in the Warranty Monthly Newsletters for scheduling and availability.

Our campus is quite large with many entry points, so choosing the correct entrance can be somewhat overwhelming. Upon class registration, we will send out an email with detailed instructions on what door to enter. When you arrive, you’ll need to check in at any of the kiosks located in the lobby. You will receive a guest badge from one of the Security Officers. Look for the warranty training sign- someone from the Warranty department will meet you there to escort you to the training classroom.

Currently, we have three in-person warranty courses available:

  • Warranty Fundamentals is designed for those who are newer to the warranty world and could benefit from an in depth understanding of CPS and resources offered. This is also a great refresher course for those more tenured.
  • Warranty Essentials is an all-encompassing class intended for both new and experienced service department personnel.
  • Warranty Excellence is designed for Service Managers/Directors. We’ll discuss topics that affect their day-to-day tasks, such as high-level policy and procedures, how to assist in warranty operations, and RO documentation and WPI.

  • Cost is based on location of training event. Please confirm with your coordinator.
  • Dealers attending a class on campus can expect to be billed through their parts statement upon arrival. There is a cancellation fee as well as a no-show fee. These details will also be provided in the class description when registering and in the emails that are sent with further class information.
  • Each attendee will need to pay the class fee for each class they are signed up for

Hotel, travel, and dining expense outside of the class are arranged and paid for individually by your dealer. If you would like suggestions on what area to stay, please reach out to the event coordinator.

  • In-person training classes are a full day that typically last from 8am to 4:30pm. These times may vary based on the class type
  • You can expect majority of the virtual seminars to be two hours
  • Virtual seminar lengths can vary depending on the topic and class sizes

  • Please bring items to take notes with- this can be a laptop or notebook. Whichever your preference
  • Positive attitudes and a commitment to learn and engage is all that we ask!

We strongly recommend our instructor-led training, but we also understand that some of you may be unable to attend our training.  We provide the following Warranty eLearning modules that you can access at any time:

  • E260, E261 and E262 are available through the Learning Management System (LMS). For additional information, visit the Claims Processing & Resource Center and click on the “Claim Processing Center & Training” tab.

If you seek to register for a class that’s full and the class is hosted by TMS Headquarters, please reach out to WarrantyEducation@Toyota.com to be put on a waiting list. In the case that the class is being hosted by your Area/Region, reach out to your field contact. Because we rarely have cancellations, we recommend checking the calendar for an alternate date.

  • We understand that life happens in your line of work and that can create some unexpected scheduling conflicts. Please notify us as soon as possible via email at WarrantyEducation@Toyota.com if you are unable to attend so we have ample time to give someone on the wait list the opportunity to make arrangements to register.
  • There will be no fee assessed for cancellation requests received 48 hours prior to the scheduled start of training.  Last minute cancellations and/or no-show will be charged the full course fee.
  • In the event there is inclement weather, the organizer will pass along the information on the status of the class as soon as it is made available to the organizers. These will be sent via the email provided at registration.
  • If the training is being held by your area/region, please confirm with your event organizer on cancellation practices

Please email our team at WarrantyEducation@toyota.com. We will be happy to help!
