Designed for new managers/directors who run a Toyota service department, this course will introduce you to warranty policies and procedures. We’ll take a deep dive into topics like:

  • Proper Repair Order (RO) Documentation
  • Warranty Performance Index (WPI) Overview
  • Warranty Parts Recovery
  • Frequent audit findings & Compliance Issues

Who Should Attend

If you’re a new service manager and/or director, or have experience but new to the Toyota family, this course will help you become more comfortable with Toyota's warranty requirements and the metrics used to monitor the dealer's service department.

What You Need to Know

This one-day course is taught by our warranty training SME and a representative from our Expense Control department. This team will review complex claim scenarios, discuss the intricacies of CPS, and cover the basics of the claim submission process so you’ll know what your warranty administrators face daily. Class starts at 8:00am and runs until 4:30pm, with breakfast and lunch being provided by our Warranty Training team. There will also be a couple of breaks throughout the day to keep your dealers refreshed and energized.

Warranty Essentials Toyota

Whether you're new to your role or have experience as a warranty administrator, our Warranty Essentials course is designed for you! In this virtual training session, you'll get an exclusive training hosted by our Subject Matter Expert, providing an in-depth overview of Toyota's policies and procedures, as well as the Claim Processing System (CPS), and the nuances of warranty claim submission. This course will not only benefit warranty administrators new to their role, but will also serve as a refresher for those who have experience with Toyota Warranty.

Our objective is to ensure warranty administrators are equipped with an understanding and confidence in the following topics to ensure proper claim submission:

  • Utilizing the warranty resources, such as the Claims Processing and Resource Center.
  • Navigating the Claim Processing System (CPS).
  • Avoiding common claim submission errors.
  • Review of specific warranty processes, including Mileage Discrepancies, DOFU Update Requests, Left-Off Appeals, and much more!

Who Should Attend

If you’re a new warranty administrator at a Toyota dealer and/or new to submitting Toyota warranty claims, this class will help you process claims with confidence.  We strongly suggest participants to complete the Warranty e-Learning module (E260) prior to attending the training class.
